We hold Open Mornings every Tuesday morning in term time starting at 9.30am and ending before lunch at 11.30am. No appointments are necessary for visiting the school during this time.
These Open Mornings give parents interested in sending their children to the school, an opportunity to see Independent School in operation and observe the teaching of our pupils as it happens. We believe that parents need to see for themselves how our school caters for a wide ability range in small classroom situations and go away with a better understanding of what we aim to achieve in an all-inclusive, mainstream environment where every child feels happy and comfortable in their surroundings.
During the Open Morning visits, all parents will meet with the Headmistress and her senior members of staff and will be able to discuss their children’s needs with classroom teachers as well as the Director of Special Needs if required.
Open Days are held normally once a term during the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. These usually take place in November, March and May on Saturday mornings starting at 10.00am and finishing at 1.00pm. School tours are conducted by pupils of all age ranges who are able to escort prospective parents around the school and show them their work. All members of the teaching staff are available to answer any queries that parents may have and to elaborate on the curriculum on offer at the school. All family members are welcome to attend and no appointments are necessary. Light refreshments are available after parents have finished their tours of the school and informal discussions with staff will take place in a relaxed environment.
Parents wishing to visit the school at any other times are able to do so by prior arrangement and are requested to make these with the Headmistresses’ PA, who can be contacted by telephone on +248 432 2337 or by email at email@example.com
Parents of children who have special learning needs who wish to visit Independent School Plus, can also make an appointment to see the school and meet with the Director of Special Educational Needs, by contacting the school as stated above.
