B in IGCSE Biology. Minimum grade C in IGCSE Maths. A reasonable understanding of Chemistry is an advantage to candidates.

Recognition and progression

You will gain UCAS points and be able to apply for a range of Higher Education courses at many institutions. An A-Level in Biology may open up a career path in a scientific field, however, Biology can also complement humanities students in adding breadth to their curriculum.

There are many careers for which A Level Biology is either essential or very useful. These include zoology, medicine, nursing, dentistry, physiotherapy, forensics, criminology, and veterinary science. Other careers include pharmacology, biochemistry, sports, psychology, speech therapy, forestry, biotechnology, food science, microbiology, radiography, teaching, business, science writing or art.

Who the course is for?

This course is for a student who has a real passion for Mathematics. A Level Mathematics develops a set of transferable skills.
